How many times are you allowed to take the NCLEX?

I believe that you can take it as many times as you want within 7 years? And...has anyone taken it more than 3 times?

im going to be a retaker soon..i failed my first take and actually just knew it last night...twas so sad..but i want to move on now..no time to lose..i want to be prepared again and was thinking about ms.suzanne's plan..how can i do that ma'am? sorry just a newbie here..i just got ineterested..im considering to try other studying methods that maybe would be more helpful than just studying all by myself..tho im thankful CA offers unlimited takes, i want to pass my second take already..pls help.thanks!^_^

I know the State of Ohio Board of Nursing has no limitations on how many times you can take the NCLEX LPN, you can take it as many times it takes to pass. I am scheduled to take mine Feb. 25 for the second time and I have been studying for it everyday. Still don't feel that I am prepared for this. Please wish me luck and I can't wait till this is over! There are two stickies at the top of the NCLEX Forum that will give you all of the information as well as answer most of your questions.

Please just have a good read there first.

Hey, we're in the same boat! I took my exam a little earlier and failed my first time as well, unfortunately. I am wanting to take Suzanne's plan likewise, I hear many ppl on here have had great success with it. What material did you use to study for your fist exam?

Anyone know...how many times you can take the NCLEX-PN in Hawaii. I have been looking everywhere online and can't find an answer...
