I'm struggling through my pharmacology class and I have heard not all schools require it. How many of you are required to take it as part of your course matrix? How did you get through it? I study by classification, and its just not clicking.

We don't have a separate pharmacology class for my program (ASN) but it is integrated into each of our classes. We have 1 nursing class each semester that incorporates everything.. NUR101, NUR102, NUR201, NUR202 and our capstone NUR203. The RN-BSN program I plan to apply to requires a pharmacology course or the passing of an NLN exam to show proficiency in the subject.
