I know that it looks good and it is a great experience to become a CNA before going to nursing school, but who is NOT getting their CNA or got accepted into Nursing school without their CNA?

My school doesn't require CNA license beforehand and I'm nearly done with my nursing program. At first during my clinicals I felt disadvantaged since the others seemed so much more confident and proficient. But if you put yourself out there and want to learn and practice (on everyone!) it becomes so much easier. Now I feel like we're on much more even ground, but it's up to you want you can afford or want to do. I had no experience in the nursing/medical field before joining nursing school, so it is a little being thrown into the waters but you quickly learn the hang of everything.
