How many LPN's had phlebotomy including in their course?

I was browsing and noticed some lpn's did not have this training included. I was very suprised.

I start next monday :yeah:and am hoping that it is included. Will find thursday during orientation

I graduated in California in '08. My school did not offer it either. So I did what NyteshiftLVN did. Except, I did it during school on a weekend. I asked my class how many would be interested in the course. About half said they would so I found a course that would come to the school and teach it over the course of a weekend. I negotiated with the school to waive my tuition based on the fact that I brought them 25 students @ $200 a pop. Worked out great! I did have to wait until after I passed the ENCLEX before the school would send my certificate to the state board so my first license did not list it. But my second one does!
