Hey everyone. I'm going to be taking Pharm/pathophysiology this semester and I have heard from many that is a very difficult class. My professor has suggested we set aside 9 hours for studying and review every week IN ADDITION to class time. That seems a little extreme for me not to mention I dont have that much time, I am taking other classes and also work part time. As of right now, I am taking 3 classes in addition to that one. they include nursing interventions, psych nursing, and wellness to illness. I was thinking about adding a core class (religion) but was not sure if it would be a good idea:uhoh3: So I either have to take that extra class now and have 5 classes altogether (incl pharm) or i can just leave my schedule as is and i would have to take 5 classes next semester, those classes would be like a child bearing class , med surg (which i heard is also very hard) and others. any suggestions would be appreciated... thanks !

Well it will ultimately be whatever you can handle. The study time may not be that far off because you really have 2 classes combined into one. I find it very strange because most places offer it as 2 separate courses. Each course in itself can be challenging, let alone if it is all rolled into one class.

I'm taking the second semester of patho/pharm. It is a challenging class. I usually spend 6-8 hrs/week reading and reviewing for that class alone.
