How many ARNPs get administrative time?

I am curious how many providers out there are allowed administrative / charting time during the course of a clinical day. How many hours do you spend charting after the day is done? I am a FNP in family practice, and we are expected to see 3 patients/hour and chart after the day is over. I find this is taking me between 2-4 hours each night after I get home. And this is after furiously charting through my lunch break.

Basically, I work at the clinic for 9 hours and get home to chart for another 2-4. I am salaried so I do not get paid for this time. Is this unusual? Needless to say I am getting burnt out.

When I answered the first time, I was working more hours. I work PT now and the arrangement is 1 hours of admin time for every 8 patients seen. I usually take it in comp time because I'm getting fast enough I don't need it. I do not bring home work anymore. It took 5 years to get this efficient.

In the beginning when I started this job my patient load was lighter and I had plenty of time to catch up on charting. Now my load has gotten heavier so I am perpetually behind. Also on of the main reasons the md hired me was to help him stay up to date on charting so I am often completing his charts as well.
