First week is done and I have just completed a self-assessment of the program format, which concluded with the following recommendation:
Get Organized!
So far, the information has not been difficult. There has been a high volume of information given, but [so far] it has been manageable.
The main source of possible error is the sheer number of possible "missed" assignments, readings, quizes, or tests. My school does use WebCT, which allows us to look at all the assignments that are due, participate in discussions, take quizes, and download study guides. We also use Evolve: Select and Evolve:Skills Online, which are great ways to present supplementary material (and to have access to ALL of my books from my laptop).
But with all these different sources of information, it can get confusing. My recommendation is to chart out two weeks in advance using which ever format your are comfortable with - I use outlook and sync it with my Axim. Then go back every day and input new information, mark any changes, and see where you are at, and what you need to do.
Now back to studying...we have two tests next week and need to be able to complete a full head-to-toe assessment at the end of the first five weeks.
