I'm putting this out there because I tend to be a little on the impatient side and need perspective. My school sent out notices to my recommenders one week ago. Two of the three sent letters within a couple of days and I'm just waiting on one more. I can resend the email anytime but I don't want to annoy her because it's a good recommendation (from NIH) and will hopefully be really helpful. I'm still waiting on a couple of transcripts so it isn't the last thing yet. I'm applying for the fall semester at University of Cincinnati so I'm trying to finish up my app quickly before it fills up. At what point would you resend or send an email attempting to casually and non-impatiently ask when to expect the letter?

I think if you have a good relationship with this person it would be okay to contact them now. Just explain that you know they are super busy with their own lives and work, however, you wanted to first make sure they received the recommendation link, and #2 that you would like to have your app completed in time for acceptance for fall =)
I went ahead and sent a reminder this morning. She said she had been busy and did forget and thanked me for the reminder so I'm glad I sent it! :)

I'm applying for fall too at UC too and was on here to ask that same question :)
I've read a few posts about Fall and January filling up fast so I'm getting antsy to get finished with all my stuff! Three transcripts and one recommender to go. :) Are you online or in person? I'm doing online adult-gero NP.
I'm online adult too I'm just waiting on one letter. Getting anxious!
Last letter was turned in today! Three more transcripts and I'm ready!
