How long does it usually take to hear back from a job shadow?

I finished my job shadow, and I feel it went well. Nurse manager told me they will have an official result in May. Does it mean they like me and will hire me? I really love this job. I'm so anxious now. Any advice here? Thanks a lot.

Their "We'll let you know ..." cannot be interpreted accurately. You can't tell from that whether you will get the job or not. You'll just have to wait and see.

Did you write a "thank-you" note? If not, do that right away. Include a statement about how much you enjoyed it and that your interest in the position continues to grow the more you learn about it.

Thanks for your advice. I sent the manager a thank-you email. Still waiting for her reply. Hope they'll hire me...I really love this job.?
