How long did it take you to get through EC?

Published

Just wondering for those of you either finished or midway through the EC program how long has it taken and how many tests did you need to complete/will you complete.

I have to take A&P, Micro, NC1, NC3, NC4, NC5, NC6, NC7 (i think thats all..lol) and i'm starting with A&P...just wondering if my goal to finish in 15 months with all my tests is do-able or not? I know i will still have the CPNE to complete as well, but i just want to at least get all my testing done while my hubby is deployed.:confused::confused:

How did or are you doing it???

im just wondering if you did it so fast because you spent every waking hour working on it. I am working full time and I have a husband and a 3 month old. I am just about to apply and have most all my pre-reqs (given that they transfer) and I hope to finish as quick as you...just wanna know how much time you put into it on a daily basis.

I work full-time -- three 12's a week -- and I volunteer as a paramedic one night each week, but I spent every other waking moment on it. :D

lol lunah...yeah i plan on working 2-3 12's a week and once i get moved back into my mom's house in ohio, i'll have someone to care for my son so i figure if i can take the A&P exam by sept 1, then from OCT 1 through the end of May I need to get ALL the other exams scheduled and taken so i can get my name on the CPNE list. That way it will give me all of june/july to prepare for hubby to get home and i can devote the rest of my time studying and taking a workshop or two for the CPNE! i just need to keep myself on track is all!
