How long does it take to become a psych nurse?

I know to become an RN takes two years. But how much more schooling would I need to become a psych nurse?

The truth serum may have been in jest, but before going into any nursing field, really, I really do suggest that you take a good look at where/what your "buttons" are because they will get pushed: by patients, coworkers, family members who don't "get it" at home, patients' family members, certain politicians, and the list goes on.
