How long for license renewal on expired license.

My WA license (endorsement)is ten years expired, sent in funds/application overnight last week and have a travel assignment that has a start date of September 16th.

Whatcha think? How slow, or fast, is the board processing these renewals?

Did/do you have to do a criminal background check for the state to reissue or a competency test/review course to take?? Im not sure how long it will take, call them and ask.. I hope you get it all worked out. That is a very narrow time frame.

WA was the fasted licensing agency I've experienced. But I endorsed from another state, not renewed. Don't know if that makes a difference. I had my temporary permit to practice within a week. My experience is not super varied though, I've dealt with the Oregon BON and Maryland BON extensively and they seemed slower. Especially MD for my compact license. Good luck! You start soon!
