So I had an interview at a hospital last week with the nurse manager of a medical floor. She is looking for new grads (which I am) to fill 3 or 4 per diem positions. It seemed like the interview went great and I had a great feeling about it afterward. It lasted nearly 1 1/2 hr, she gave me a tour of the unit, and introduced me to the nurses and some of the doctors. She seemed to really like all of the questions that I asked and told me I would hear sometime early this week, as she is going on vacation on Thursday. I'm now getting very nervous that I didn't get it, and I'm not sure why (and I did send a thank you email the next morning).
If I don't hear from her by tomorrow (Tuesday), would it be appropriate to contact her? Should I call her or email her? Are there any other indications that I could look for as far as what her thoughts may have been? Sorry, I know I'm fishing here...it was my first interview after looking for 2 months, and I would LOVE this job--it's exactly what I am looking for. It's so nerve-wreaking!
Thanks everyone! :)

I dont know the proper thing to do as far as job search etiquette goes, but I think the thank you note was plenty. its her turn to call you.
