How long after your 3, 12 hour shifts do you feel rested?

Do you usually have a day that you just lay around and do nothing? Ha, I was wondering that. I know that at some point, that has to take a toll on your body. And honestly, after working that hard, you deserve to have a couple of lazy days.

Almost all of the FT (and even PT) nurses I know, due to our collective agreement, work four 12's in a row. Two days, two nights-4 off for LPN's, 5 off for RN's.

That is for FT. PT will vary. Usually still four twelves, 2 days, 2 nights, but moe off in between.

hi! I was hoping I could ask here since I couldn't reply to your message about the itchy palm and feet episodes, did you figure anything out or they still happen ? same thing happens to me
