I passed my state test on Sunday and I'm wondering how long it takes to get a job as a CNA in a nursing home? I really need a job asap, I'm a broke nursing student and I have almost 2 more years left of a 4 year program. My school is very expensive and I'm tired of taking out so much loans, so I have decided to work part time as a CNA to earn some money and gain some experience.
The reason why I prefer working in a nursing home is that I plan on working as a geriatric nurse in the future. I was raised by a loving grandmother whom I loved very dearly, she passed away a couple of years ago. I love being around elderly people because they remind me of my grandmother.
How do I go about getting a job in a nursing home as fast as possible?

Well it only took me about 2 days to get my job. took test on tuesday and by wednesday i had the job.
