If it is general Bio, then it shouldn't be too bad. Just listen to lectures regularly, take notes, go over the notes daily. I would recommend emailing your professor before the session begins, and ask if there are any study guides available during the semester and study a little bit ahead of time.
Good Luck!! I'm sure you'll be fine :)
It works the same as any other class - you'll get out of it, what you put into it. You'll have to work harder on a daily basis because the class is fewer weeks in length. But the beauty of summer classes is that they're over before you know it! I took general bio last summer and earned an A - and that was with two kids and a husband at home. So it can be done! Good luck :)
I took bio and A&P 1 last summer and did well in both. It was hard work, but after taking A&P 2 this past spring, I think I prefer science in the summer. I had to study hard every single day as there was usually a test every couple days. I felt more on top of the material than I did in the spring where we only had a test once a month or so.
I'm taking Micro this summer so I've got to get myself back into that mode. I know that quizes everyday sounds overwhelming, but it really keeps you on top of the material so when the exam comes around, it makes studying much easier. Good luck!

I have to take bio this summer, but unfortunately had to add another class to it. Looking at the syllabus freaks me out (quizzes everyday in both classes).
Has anybody taken a summer class & been successful? It's mostly the science that I'm worried about.
