How is the job situation for new grads in California?

Hey there everyone. I'm a new grad from Alabama and am considering moving back to the Bay Area. How is the job situation over there for new grads???

Specializes in Case mgmt., rehab, (CRRN), LTC & psych.
sucks here. hundreds of applications for 1 position. better go to texas.
although i am originally from california, i have been living in texas since 2005. the nursing job market is rather tough in the large metropolitan areas in texas. contrary to popular belief, texas did not escape the economic downturn.

I can only speak for the Bay Area-where I live, and its very tough to find a job. Over 100 applications, no luck yet.
