I'm jumping the gun a bit because I haven't been accepted yet (fingers crossed...Weatherford College Spring 2022! Application submitted but haven't heard back).
But I'm curious - how can you hold down a full-time job and go to nursing school? I'm currently self-employed as a Realtor so for now, I make my own schedule and it would be easy to do school and my job. But I'm not feeling too confident in this real estate market and I'm considering looking for a regular job with a steady paycheck. I'm just not sure how a person can work regular hours and do nursing school.
Thoughts/advice? What are you guys doing out there? I know so many of you have to keep working while going to school that I'm sure you have plenty of things to share on this subject.
Best wishes,
Sarah

First of all: I applied to WC for Spring also! I’m so excited to see another applicant :)
as far as work goes: I have no idea. I’m married with 4 kids between us and I just don’t know how I can not work. If I take on a part time job, I’d have to work so many hours to get anything substantial to pay bills. I know there is a Fall 2021 nights & weekend program they’re starting, so I’m hoping they’ll offer that for the Spring as well. I could work during the day and school at night.
Hey nice to meet you! I searched past posts and found one about the topic after I posted. The answers were not favorable to working during school. I had not heard about the nights and weekends school option. I think I will be OK because real estate is so flexible BUT it would be nice to have that option.
