I have an Massachusetts nursing license and I want to obtain a New Hampshire nursing license to practice up there. What do I do to transfer it? Thanks in advance!

Call the BON in NH. They will give you all the specifics you will need.

Just to clarify: You don't transfer your license, you apply for a new one in the new state.
Once you meet the requirements of the second state, you will be granted a second license. Your original license will remain in effect, and must be maintained or it will become inactive.
Jolie, how do I go about doing this? Thanks.

You get a license in NH by contacting the NH BON. Just google it. They will tell you what forms you need to fill out and what requirements they have.

That is the link to NH's BON FAQ. The last one explains how to get an endorsement, meaning how to get a license through them when you already have one elsewhere.

The should have the endorsement forms online. Print it out, it will tell you what you need to provide to them. It really is not difficult. My first licensure by endorsement was MA to NH and it is really easy. Just go to the board website like others have mentioned. BTW, the pay is usually less in NH...I worked in LTC and took a huge paycut going from MA to NH...
