Gary and I are going to start traveling after the first of the year. We are planning on staying in our RV.
Right now we are looking at New Orleans LA, and Charleston, S.C.
This is my question. I know how much I make an hour at my regular job. How do I know what they are going to pay me to go there is the right amount? I mean for that area. Money is not the only issue to travel, but of course I want to make more.
Thanks

Depends on what you think the "right amount" is. Of course, in addition to your hourly wage, I expect that you will get a housing stipend as well, since you are providing your own housing. The smaller companies tend to have smaller overhead, and generally provide higher pay rates. The bigger companies have more overhead, so the pay rate is less, but the benefits may be better. Talk to recruiters and see what their company has to offer before filling out paperwork, and remember to compare apples to apples.
Good luck.
We are currently looking at Cross Country Travel Corp and Travel Nurse Across America.
Has anyone used either one of them?

Dianne,
If you look at my previous post on this subject I outline some of the $ benefits I get from traveling.

It's definitely worth it with an RV.
