Absolutely, you would need to graduate from an accredited college of nursing either from a University Bachelor program , Community College Associate degree program, or if you are lucky enough to find a Hospital with a Diploma program. All three programs make you eligible to sit for the NCLEX-RN licensing exam.
Once you become a CNA how can you become a RN??? Do you have to go to school again?? Im asking this because Im taking my CNA class through the red cross
You have at the very least 2 years of school ahead of you (likely more when you include pre-requisites)! You will need to choose a school and apply for admission. Nursing programs generally have additional requirements for admission to the major above and beyond the college admission requirements.
After graduating, you then have to successfully pass the NCLEX exam (also known as "boards").
