How was health and safety excelsior exam

How was health and safety excelsior exam. I am already an LPN. I feel a lot of the info is just a review.

Specializes in EMS, ED, Trauma, CEN, CPEN, TCRN.

I didn't think it was bad, but I studied for it. Don't underestimate this exam ... this one has the highest percentage of failures, according to the Excelsior exam technical handbook. But throughout the exams, you'll probably find that there is much that is review. That's the beauty of being in this program as an established healthcare provider. Good luck!!

Believe me, it wasnt that easy as I thought... Im also an LVN and I thought its just a review, but no, it was hard, maybe I just didnt study enough, I got C. So my advice, study for this one as hard as for others. Good luck.

Wow! I thought it was pretty easy! I have only been a LPN for 2 years and I got a "B" on Health safety. I do believe that READING COMPREHENSION has lots to do with most of these exams, especially Health Safety. If you rush through the questions, or if you don't break them down to uncover the fundamental question, you will struggle. Honestly, I do not know HOW anyone who doesn't speak English as their first language could pass these exams. The questions are long and verbose! Anyway, study the guide and go s-l-o-w-l-y when you take the exam. Also, flag the ones you are unsure of to recheck, but review ALL your answers before ending the exam.

Good luck!
