Which program are you looking to apply to? If it is a BSN program i woukd just confirm that they accept a letter of rec with applications. I know the ones I've applied to did nit want them. My best bit of advice would be to speak to your professor privately on the matter. Most will have no problems as long as your grades are good and you come to class... Etc. BUT don't ask a teacher you hate, or who seems to hate everyone, they don't usually respond well. Good Luck!
Yes, a BSN program. My target school is UT Austin and they require 3 letters of rec. I'm just not too sure how to approach the professors!

You choose the ones you actually have a working relationship with while in their class and you ask. Not difficult at all.
I agree with "not.done.yet". Make sure the teachers you speak with you have good working relationships with. Don't ask a teacher who's class you miss all the time, or one where your grade isn't the best, or your opinions are very different. I am sure you have several teachers over the years who would be willing to write you a letter. I believe you can also use previous bosses or someone who has the ability to vouch for your character. I fortunately have not had to go ask any of my professors. I have had several teachers tell me though that if I need a letter EVER, for me to let them know. But thes best way to approach them would be to go see them during conference hours or right before class or right after.
