How to find a specialty NP program?

If one had an interest in a specialty, how do you find a program with the appropriate educational focus and clinical support?

For example: interventional radiology, intensive care, cardiology, or emergency?

It seems the programs around me are fairly exclusively focused on womens health, family practice, or outpatient peds.

You need to divide on a NP certification be it ACNP or AGNP or PNP or FNP or WHNP. Once you start your rotations you can work with your program to get experience in the areas you are interested in. You may find you lien something totally different after you start so don't put all your eggs in one basket.
