i drive an hour and a half one way to the hospital i work at. it's rough in the mornings after working a twelve plus hour shift, but in this economy i was willing to do the drive. the better the shift goes and the more sleep i acquire the day before definately have bearing on how well my drive home goes. i find that eating on the way home often perks me up a bit, and lets not underestimate the power of a good coffee!
Currently I drive approx 50 mins one way. I was lucky to get a new grad position, I wasn't about to turn it down b/c I had to drive a little further than most people would like. Plus, i live in SoCal, everything is at least 20 mins drive. :)
