How does your facility do the following:

1. Do Oxygen change over and MAR change over? (Our facility has managers doing both-- but when the managers get pulled to the floor both get neglected or pilled onto other managers)

2. How does PRN nurses work? (We have 8 PRN nurses... only 1-2 are usually available when u need them...)

Do any of ur facilities have where you can advertise for a PRN position "must be able to work 2-3 days a week"? ... as its still PRN..

Are people hired as part-time to be always gaurenteed the 2-3 days a week?

At my workplace, part-timers are entitled to 24 hours per week in addition to health insurance coverage.

o2 tubing and nebulizer masks and o2 get changed once weekly by 11-7 shift.

MAR change over is done as well by 11-7 shift. so two floors by usually one or two nurses in 8 hours plus if anything else happens in the facility. its a hassle to say the least
