How are the excellsior exams #3 and etc.? Hard?

Published

I was just wondering how are the Excellsior exams #3 and after? Are they hard? I took two first two ones and I passed them with B. One of my friend said that they are harder then the first two and it is very hard to pass them? So I was just wondering how are they? Thanks.:balloons:;)

Three was boring - lots of maternal child and community. I got a B but only because I didn't finish the reading. I just took 4 and it was quite difficult. I got an A and literally yelped when I saw it because I thought that I had failed. I'm studying for 5 now and expect that to be pretty easy - mental illness and thyroid, pancreas, and liver. 6 looks tough - all of the infectious diseases and their meds. 7 is nursing history and theory. Incredibly boring but easy.

i am a ec student and after all the reading i have done it seems like 3 and 5 are the tough ones. i am studying for nc7 right now and it is very boring. i thought about starting on nc6 just to give this study session some flavor... however, what do i know, i cant seem to get back on track and get these test out of the way..look at lunah ,shes done run me over....lol

I found 3 and 5 to be the most difficult. Just the breadth of knowledge required to cover all bases in 3 was a lot, perhaps that is why they are splitting 3 into 2 separate tests next year. Five, if I recall correctly, had a lot of psych on it, which I wasn't as familiar with. I did score an A on all of the NC exams but only because I studied everything that was required.
