From what I've read around here, it seems pretty common to have alot of doubt about your abilities. I've just started school, and am only taking gen ed courses like Microbiology and A&P. I'm doing well, and really enjoying myself in school. But Im terrified that I'll be in clinicals, and end up sucking in a big way. I'm really enjoying myself so far, and really looking forward to the rest of school and on to working in a hospital (I'll be volunteering soon in an ED as well).
Basically, Im just psyching myself out and worried to death that Im not going to be able to cut it.
How do you deal with the self doubt?

You will gain confidence as your knowledge base increases. Right now it seems daunting because you are just starting out. Take it one day at a time. One clinical at a time. You will do fine.
