How does a Canadian LPN become registered in the USA ?

I'm a soon to be wed Canadian LPN-the only setback is I'm told that I can't become registered in the USA. I love my work and don't want to give it up! Must I choose between love and economics? Any info would be much appreciated! We are a very frustrated couple!

Registered Psychiatric Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse?

Practical Nurse will not meet work or immigrant requirements and Psychiatric Nurse may as long as you have experience in nursing school of all areas
