Hello everyone.
I met my husband in Korea and We will move to the US next year!
I wonder how can I get a job as a nurse in army hospital.
I don't have U.S citizenship right now . I will get my green card soon.
I have Associate degree in Nursing ( Korean) and I have working experience in ICU and Med/Surg for each 1year and 2 year so total is 3 years. Also I worked temporary at Endoscopic room for about 6 months.
I googled nursing jobs and they prefer RN to BSN .
My question is If I can get a job in army hospital / If not, I should probably start BSN as soon as I get there?

First of all I would think you will have to get ur nursing school checked by whatever State ur moving to Board of nursing......as well as write and pass the NCLEX. Yes on many employment ads they wil say BSN preferred, but it doesnt hurt to apply if you have a ADN.....I think you will find having a BSn will open a lot more doors and there are many online options to obtain ones BSN. make sure you have ur school transcipts from Korea as the BON wil want them and if you do go back to school, the school will want them as well.
Thank you so much for your advice ! =)
