That is what I was wondering, under my Objective on my resume I have: LPN position in medical/surgical department that will......" Should I state "PRN LPN position in medical/surgical department...." I am wondering if applying for PRN will help or hurt my chances of getting hired?

I am making up resumes and cover letters to find my first nursing job..... I am at a stumbling block. I want to work PRN but am unsure how to approach it. Do I put PRN or per dium position on my resume or simply apply for a position and then discuss working PRN?
I know I will have to work full time during my preceptorship/orientation but want to make my own schedule after that beings that I will still be taking classes to get my associates. Do employers generally like when nurses request PRN or do they look down on it? i.e. is it something that may hinder me from getting hired?
Thanks!
