Hi everyone! I graduated with my BSN and I'm applying for residencies in the Houston area. Best of luck!

congratulations! I'm hoping to hear from NICU too. What is their starting pay? No one wants to answer that LOL

Yeah 31.50. Someone else posted their differential pay too earlier in this discussion

How soon is everyone going to  complete NCLEX?

Anyone hear from St.Joseph about Med Surg yet?

yes, they called yesterday

They're starting Houston out at $31.50. At least for me! Anyone else any different?

Which department did you interview for?

I interviewed with ICU and med surg. I've been so discouraged, I graduated in December. And haven't gotten any offers.

im in the same boat. I have my license and everything as well, so im definitely convinced this has to do with having connections within hospitals :/ im very discouraged

Im sorry! I passed my NCLEX in January, I was hoping that it would it increase my chances of getting an offer. But it doesn't seem to matter. And yea I definitely believe it is either connections or clinicals. I went to a program that wasn't in Houston, so I think that played a role too. I wish you the best!!

It so exciting to see where everyone is going to! Is anyone else going to MH Memorial City? I accepted an offer for their L&D.

When does their residency start?

Got an offer yesterday from St. Joseph's MB!

Did they tell you your start pay? Or is it the same that I'm reading? I'm in L&D I wonder if they'll have us training together!! Either way I'm excited to start!

When I got the offer letter, all it said was that it was going to start in July

Not sure if MD Anderson has started interviewing yet but my application status now says not selected LOL

Has any new grads heard back from Methodist woodlands location after a second interview?? On the portal my application still says "interview scheduled". I'm not sure if that's a good sign or not...

Okay thanks, I feel better that I'm not the only one LOL

Does anyone know if MH or any of the hospitals give differentials/critical pay for specialty areas?

Hey! I just wanted to ask if MH got back to you with an official offer letter. I havent recieved mine yet still and just wanted to check in before I send off an email. Thanks!
