Starting a thread about Houston Nurse Residency programs that open this month/next to start in June/July!

Likewise. What position did y’all apply for? Does anyone know anybody that have accepted a position in their women’s services?

I did NICU and ICU at Ben Taub. I have a friend who accepted a position in the Newborn Nursery at LBJ, but I haven't heard of anyone getting any other offers for women's services at either hospital. Honestly, I have only heard of 4 people getting offers in general, 2 of them being on here, the other two were classmates!

Women’s Services and ICU were my top picks at Ben Taub. I haven’t heard of anyone getting Women’s Services there so far though.

I haven’t heard of anyone getting a position in the women’s services either, so far I know of one person that have accepted a position with HH, the others I know declined their offers and neither of those where from women services. Maybe there isn’t any position available. I really hope we hear something before 30th. At this point I just want to know if I got the job or not. I need to move on ?

Same!! Isn wondering if they are having to do a second round of interviews because people are declining offers after already having accepted offers from other hospitals

I had womens services and ICU at Ben Taub as my top two as well but also told my interviewer I’d be willing to work Med Surg ? I don’t know what the hold up is
