Houston Nurse Residency Spring 2025

Hiiiii everyone! I know this is a little early but I am graduating this December and will be applying to houston nurse residencies and didn't see a forum for this 🙂 since applications start in a few months, just wanted to make this for more info! Does anyone know all the application opening dates for TCH, MH, Methodist, etc...?

I got the offer! I'm not sure though! Which unit are you going to and what is your cohort start date? I'm Imcu and march cohort

anybody starting residency at the HCA Southeast location ?

Can we change the speciality once we start the residency program?

It was just this last week I got the interview and offer. I accepted the offer. But then I realized I will be hard for me to do 12 hour shifts.

I think HCAs program has you do classroom education for a day, online modules another day, and then 2-3 days of on unit shifts (most of which are 12 hours). and I think you can switch specialties after you graduate from the program and apply to their "fast track" program or something along those lines.

I see! I will to talk to recruiter then! I thought atleast first 3 months were hybrid 8 hour shifts.

Hi did anyone get an HCA med surg interview if so was it a hard interview? Any insight on what to expect in the future. thanks
