Hiiiii everyone! I know this is a little early but I am graduating this December and will be applying to houston nurse residencies and didn't see a forum for this 🙂 since applications start in a few months, just wanted to make this for more info! Does anyone know all the application opening dates for TCH, MH, Methodist, etc...?

I don't believe so! From what I've heard, Harris Health won't be until mid to late October (although this could be wrong and I just don't know anyone who got an invite haha) and MD Anderson only just closed their applications for their residency

Same. Was told decisions would be made this week but was not given a specific day. Let me know if you hear anything, whether an offer, rejection, or just if the status of your application changes.

MD Anderson just closed their Research Nurse Residency applications a few days ago. I don't know when/if their Clinical Nurse or OR Nurse Residencies will open but I've been checking obsessively everyday for it.

HCA specialties for Houston have not opened yet. A recruiter told me to be on the look out this month. Anywhere else in the country they have some openings but not sure what specialties are being offered

Sometimes they post RN I jobs that don't require any experience, especially with hospitals/companies that don't have residency programs (like Texas Oncology or UT Houston), and I personally have 6 months RN experience and a few hospitals only require 6 months experience to be considered for their RN II positions
