Houston Nurse Residency Spring 2025

Hiiiii everyone! I know this is a little early but I am graduating this December and will be applying to houston nurse residencies and didn't see a forum for this 🙂 since applications start in a few months, just wanted to make this for more info! Does anyone know all the application opening dates for TCH, MH, Methodist, etc...?

I received a phone call from HM Clearwater yesterday afternoon asking a few questions about my application for clarification and asking me what my passions were. They said they had a couple departments who normally don't do residencies but might be interested in taking me on as a resident and that they were going to reach out to them and get back to me by end of day today. Did anyone else get this phone call as well? It has left me a little confused since it does not seem to be the experience everyone else is having with the prescreening email and the mass interview tomorrow.

did they mention which unit? Maybe it has something to do with that. I noticed not every location had all specialties

Yes! After going over what I was looking for in a job they are reaching out to Endoscopy, PACU, and their AOD clinic.

im trying not to get my hopes up since I know it's not standard for them to accept nurse residents but she seemed pretty optimistic that they would be interested so we will see!

I got the same email but when I click the link it says that all available interview times are taken! Are you having the same issue? Or did I miss my chance?

When I scheduled my time there were only 2 time slots available for that day (October 8th). I would reach out to let them know you are having problems with scheduling a time.

That's what I was thinking to do but the link said that no action is needed and that someone would contact me "shortly.” But it feels weird to not email them so IDK what to do 😭
