I wanted to go ahead and start a thread for all the Houston applicants! Where is everyone applying and what units? Would love for us to connect throughout the process.

You did essays?? Uh oh did I miss something for Memorial Hermann?? I didn't submit essay!

I meant the 3 short answer questions. I call them essays LOL 

like the why you want to be a nurse and stuff

How did you run out of time on the assessment for MH? Is it really fast??? ?

Yea the section that was multiple choice (instead of a scale like strongly disagree to agree) had some weird questions that made me take too long. For example how many times does letter J come after b following two Os -and it was long line of letters. My screen was too small! Then there was some math. So be prepared. Not sure If its same questions for everyone or same kind of questions but that section was the only one I ran out of time on!

Ohhh OK! Haha.  Yesss like the why are you passionate about nursing?  I remember that.

Same, I was able to combine the 3 LOR into one file and submit them all! I didn't know you could have 5 files max so it just threw me off. Was anyone thrown off about only getting 1 choice for a unit? I thought we got 2 top choices for units per the Pre Match Day zoom.

I was surprised because I know I heard them say we’d be doing a first and second choice area!! And I attended 3 day Match Day Zooms where they all said that. Not sure why it changed

I also attended 3 that all said you get 2 locations and 2 units! I was so stressed opening the application and seeing that. !LOL

For the MH behavioral assessment, there’s a part that asked for # of moths licensed, did you leave it blank?

And # of relevant experience
