Try looking in the Texas forum under the "U.S." tab up top of this page.
I will do that.
Thank you!

I have worked in two NICUs in Houston, Memorial Hermann in the medical center & downtown St. Joe's. Memorial Hermann has a very good NICU internship that I would highly recommend. St. Joe's does not but they will hire new grads & will work your tailfeathers off.
Thank you for the news! Do you know when hermann opens the nicu internship to begin applying?
Memorial Hermann interviews in April for the NICU internship & the interns start in July. They are looking for BSN grads. If you do not have a BSN don't discount St. Joe's. You will learn there & after a year of experience you can much more easily find a NICU job. Some of the big NICUs that will only hire a BSN grad will hire a nonBSN with experience.
I will graduate with my BSN so that will hopefully make it a little easier. Thanks for the timeline :)

Same here! I learned great time management skills at St Joe's and am ever thankful for all the hands that are at Hermann!

Hi all! Im a new grad as well with a dream to start my career in the NICU! I have to applied to St. Joseph's NICU, but would love to be able to contact someone there as I know a few people who received interviews by being able to contact the right person, whether it be a nurse manager or HR recruiter. Those of you who have worked at St. Joseph would you by any chance still have contact information for either an HR recruiter, or nurse manager I could reach out too!? I have called the HR recruiter it seems thousands of times now and never get to talk to anyone and have left countless messages. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
