Houston Methodist Oct 2016 Graduate Nurse Residency Program

Hi all, I am new to Allnurses. Just wondering for those who applied for Oct 2016 Houston Methodist Graduate Nurse Residency Program, have you guys heard anything back yet? I applied several GN residency programs (Methodist, memorial hermann, St.Luke) around Houston area 3 weeks ago, but haven't receive anything back yet. Also, i am new resident to Houston, not sure if it is going to affect me to find a job :(. As a new graduate nurse, i am just afraid that i am not able to find a job :(. Any advices would be appreciate!!!

I'm in the same boat as you. I've been applying to hospitals since this summer and nothing has worked out. I moved to college station from Louisiana after graduating in May. I'll be moving to Houston in January.

Make sure you apply for HCA StaRN graduate nurse residency program, they are recruiting lots of new graduate nurses.I am in their Oct cohort now, love the program!!! I believe next one will start in Feburary 2017, so make sure you apply now. If you want recruiters contact info, I have their contact info as well.
