I am currently attempting to get into Houston Community College's ADN program.
I have taken EVERY academic and prerequisite course attaining an A.
My GPA is, and should remain, a 4.0.
I am currently taking Pharmacology and should (unless something extraordinary occurs) attain an A.
I took the HESI test and passed all sections with 90% or better.
The problem is, I was told to await an acceptance letter, and the fall semester is fast approaching.
Does anyone here know what kind of candidates get into HCC's program? I know that so far in my Pharmacology class, the class average has been C's.
The more time goes by, the more nervous I get!

Hi. HCC is known for accepting students and sending out acceptance letters some years 2 days before classes were to start and since they have added Pharm as a pre-req, it is very common for them to wait until the people in that semester (in your case Summer) finish, pass the math test and the class before sending out an acceptance letter. As long as you pass the math test and class, you should get a letter of acceptance for the fall semester. You can always call the secretary and ask, they have been really helpful. HTH
