Thanks!! I did kinda good on the TEAS. I just hate the waiting game I'm just anxious to know if I'm in or not. To the interview they are going to ask you to bring a 2-3 paged typed essay from an interview you have to do to an active LVN. Also you will have to take 3 reference letters they do not accept any from family or friends.
Can one of the references be from our manager? I went to the orientation today and they told us that they really look at our TEAS scores, Interview, and the grade we make in our nutrition and A&P 1......The only problem I may have is if I pass I still have to take nutrition and A&P 1 and they won't be able to look at it because its still in progress. I did hear someone say that we won't be able to apply if our classes are in progress. Have you heard anything about that. I hope its not true its going to put a lot of people behind. Sorry, Im asking so many questions..lol
It's not that bad just the time given for the reference letters is kinda short. On math I got an 92 and reading 88. Overall 79 did bad in science lol. My current GPA is 3.75. Yes, I did take HPRS 1201 the introductory to nursing class. I did the folder but we never had to take that to the interview.
I got one of my reference letters from my manager and also district manager and one from my A&P professor. I'm not sure but I think as long as you have proof that your enrolled in them but I'm not positive. Call the school and make sure. What I do not if you do get accepted you have to have your Hep B series done in time, it usually takes @6 months to get all 3 shots.
Ohh that sounds great and with that GPA and great test scores I believe you will get accepted . Thats great because I rushed on my folder ,and I wrote anything just to get a grade lol and , I would hate to have to do some of it over again. Did you take your nutrition and A&P 1 class over the summer or you currently taking it.
I'm still nervous but positive let's wait and see if not I'll apply again. Lol I remember doing that folder lol I used to leave everything at the last moment lol. I actually took my Nutrition and A&P since last year in the summer. I didn't apply for this spring because I wanted to spend some time with my kids before going into the program.
