Houston Community College (HCC) ADN Fall 2021 Admissions

Hi everyone.

couldn’t find one so I decided to start a forum to discuss admission for ADN fall 2021.

who’s applying?

im more interested in knowing what stats will boost chances for admission, and wonder if the usual number of students are applying or has it decreased due to COVID.

I still have to do the HESI but have A’s in all my Pre reqs.

I received mines . I’m also was placed on the alternate list. I received my TBON card clearance yesterday and completed my drug test Monday. I’ve heard that people have been giving up their seats, because they were accepted other places. Just waiting for 5/21 or 5/25(not sure which date is correct on the letter of intent) so we can at least know something. I don’t have the patience to wait all the way to July 21 to find out.

How long after doing your fingerprints did you receive your TBON card?

I did my fingerprints for another school and am currently waiting on my Blue Card but I have no idea how long they take.

I got my finger prints done on a Monday morning and got my blue card that same week Friday! So it is super fast. It is a little blue post card. I thiugh it was junk mail at first

I took my drug test yesterday and I have a blue card from a previous school. Hopefully we can hear something.

Hello Future HCC Nursing Students,

I was placed on the alternate list and I am now a 3rd semester student.  So keep your hopes up.
