Houston Community College ADN applicants for fall 2015?

Hello,

Just wanted to know if anyone is applying this April to get in for fall 2015 ADN program at HCC?

Also, I have completed all of the required prerequisites and I am taking all of the recommended classes this Spring. Do I still have a chance of getting accepted even though the recommended classes are still in progress?

I plan on registering for the HESI as soon as HCC updates the test dates and I am hoping to get a date in February.

Any info is helpful :)

So for everyone that received the email what did your email say exactly?

It said that I needed to submit:

  • a criminal background test,
  • proof of finishing microbiology (which I did in the spring with an A!)
  • physical exam
  • proof of immunizations
  • current CPR card (not older than 6 months)
  • Drug Screen
  • Proof of Health Insurance
  • and "be prepared to take photo ID and purchase uniforms"

All of this before august 5th.

Mine looked the same except without the gpa verification and ranking. Mine did not state that.

@wallacevell you wanna charge that phone? :lol2: mine looked like that too, but that was the attachment that came with the waiting list email... see how it states its june 22, but when they emailed us today, it states june 29 for the actual email....

Hi everyone, mine looked like that except that mine said that my "contingent acceptance is based on availability of clinical space and department resources" and my deadline for the background check and everything else is August 5th

@dgarcia1 does that mean that we're accepted but we could possibly not be enrolled if they dont have space for us?
