I study a lot. I was in class this morning until 10 got home at 11:30 and studied til 4. I have to get all of my studying in before my son gets home so we can spend as much quality time as possible together right now as I am going through a divorce and it's hard on him. Yes, I think you can study too much because for me it all blurs together after a while.
Sometimes I think that my anxiety will get the best of me. I'm mostly anxious because I want to be a nurse more than anything. Failing is a scary thought! I also think I'm scared for the "no social life," but it's good to know that you get to spend some quality time with your family! Do you feel it's important to set yourself a schedule so you don't get behind? Have there been things you don't understand, or is it mostly just material load?
It definitely blurs together.... I'm in NUR 111 and Assessment/Pharmacology, my first semester in nursing school, and it's all mish mashed together in my brain because there is way too much material to try to differentiate which class I actually learned it in! Today is a long day, six and half hours of class time/lab time, and I couldn't crack a textbook tonight if my life depended on it. The information overload is unreal. Tomorrow 8 hours of clinical, and my first real patient. I'm so tired right now I am going to bed at 830 tonight and DVRing "The Voice"! You know I'm tired if I miss that!

How many hours per day do you put into studying for your nursing classes? I've heard a lot of different answers. Also, do you think there is such a thing as studying TOO much? Can you freak yourself out because you "don't get it all at once"?
Studying advice?
