Hourly Wage for the ICU?

Published

Hello, I'm thinking about starting off in the med/surg ICU after graduation. I was wondering if anyone had any info about starting wages in California, for a BSN grad? Area would be urban, level 1 trauma in a large "teaching" hospital. My web searches turn up temp agencies and nebulous answers which don't tell me anything. I'm wondering what real nurses say... thanks!

Would depend on where in CA, union shop or no, etc.

That would be Sacramento (northern cal, urban), with a union I'm geussing (a place like Sutter or UCDavis Medical Center).

Specializes in SICU, NTICU.

UCDMC, new RN's begin around 31 p/h and after six months 33. Great place to work.
