Hi All,Just wondering what the hourly pay is for an advice or triage nurse in the Bay Area. I may be moving back to San Jose in the near future. I am currently the lead Advice RN for a Nurse Line in another state. I have 2 years RN experience, 1 year in telephone triage. Thanks!
Kaiser is union (CNA)
You would probably start close to $70.00.
Hope that helps.
I have a friend who works as an advice nurse in the east bay and makes $87 an hour at Kaiser. She has about 2 years experience as an LVN and 2 years as an RN. Cost of living is typically higher in many parts of the bay but not in all areas. If you can find a cheaper place to live (think east Contra Costa County) then it's totally worth it and the money is awesome!

Your friend must work nights :)

I know for a fact that is a little over-exaggerated, even on nights with that amount of seniority.
