36.96 /hour long term care

In Ontario Canada. RN nurse manager position. $36.96/hr. Nursing Home.

What are some of your rates of pay? I was just curious. I KNOW there are already a lot of OLD threads regarding this. Here's a new one.

I made 30/hr as a lpn in LTC. Washington State. Years ago.

For 36.96 I would be the best manager they ever had seen.

FYI, that would be ~34/hour USD. I know its not a big difference, but there is a conversion between the canadian dollar and the US dollar. Still sounds like a good pay amount.

Add in the sky high taxes they pay in Canada and you would be taking a paycut.

Wow. An aquaintance of mine says she makes 26hr as an lpn in michigan and i think shes lying because i work for the state of ohio and lpns start at almost 18hr :twocents: :twocents:
