Hostos Community College Spring 2023

Hi, 

I’m a student at Hostos Community College, I’m starting this discussion for anyone that is applying for Hostos’ LPN or RN program in Spring 2023. I’ll be taking Microbiology (bio310) during the first semester of the  program . When are you guys going to take the TEAS? Because the last day to take it is November 15th.

How do I start the LPN prerequisites at hostos please? I tried calling the office and nobody answered the phone and I really just need to know how I can start my prerequisites?

You have to enroll as a pre-nursing student to enroll in classes for the pre-reqs. However, it's best to speak to an advisor! I'm almost completing my pre-reqs as a liberal arts and science student with my advisor!

Hi Lizbeth but where do I go to apply as a pre nursing student so I can start the pre nursing classes?

Lizbeth were the pre nursing classes really hard?

Are you enrolled in Hostos? If so, I'm not sure though. I'm a liberal arts and science student and I didn't need to be a pre-nursing student to take pre-reqs, but again you need to discuss it with your advisor since they can guide you better. 

In my opinion, the pre-nursing classes are hard.
