Hospitals paying for schooling?

HI All, I was told by someone that there are certain hospitals that will pay for your schooling. Has anybody heard of this, and if so how do you apply?

I live in Michigan near Detroit, does anybody live in my area that is enrolled in a program like this?

I am not currently enrolled, but I know that Oakwood Hospital and St. John's Health Systems has this kind of program to encourage new grads to work. I have been reluctant to apply because I do not know the salary and benefits that they offer a new grad. I also do not know the work environment, I may not like the facility.
