Hi everyone! I've visited a particular thread with the list of requirements for application, however, I wish to know which hospitals are currently open to hire and absorb nurses. :specs:

I plan to have mg ecg inerpretation, bls and ivt training at philippine heart center... can you hand me some tips so I can register in these courses with much ease... I've called them twice yesterday to inquire, unfortunately they're quite rude..hehe.. I think I have to try later...

thanks in advance!

hi! are they accepting applicants via courier mail? or by personal talga? thanks

I handed my requirements personally. I stayed in Cebu City for a day just to pass it. I'm sorry I don't know if they will accept it through courier, but then just give it a try.

It's not in Metro Manila but it's just in the outskirts. I think Unciano Medical Center in Antipolo City is accepting trainees, if not now, soon. They always do so all-year round, I'm not sure, though exactly when. You can inquire at the Nursing Director's office.

I was once an ECG Recognition Trainee at Philippine Heart Center last Nov 2009 and it was a wonderful experience. Though applying for it is hard. My friends and I had are slot from PURE LUCK. They will give you the exact date when to apply. The area of application is located at the top most level of the PHC (roof top area). Since Heart Foundation offers a worth paying seminar and training, healthcare professionals from all over the metro are really dying to be part of the list. From my experience, it was a short list of trainees like a 100 I guess for every field ( ACLS, BLS, ECG Recognition). First come first serve basis, as soon as you arrive there and the office/lecture room is open, they will let you sign your namen on a bond paper taped at the door. e got there at around 7am I guess and it was jampack already. All list were full plus the excess names written under 100, people who are actually waiting in case someone changes their mind. We were about to leave and I was standing in front of the list when a guy accidentally hit me, he caught my attention and as I was eavesdropping at their conversation I found out that he wrote their names on the wrong seminar. He erased 3 names from the ECG Recognition Seminar, like what I've said it was pure luck. I hurriedly wrote our names there. We got called immediately since we were at the top of the list or should I say the people who first wrote there and had our applications filed then we paid for it and voila we got in the list. The only advice I can give you with regards to PHC training is to always be on time or rather be way way early and don't forget the requirements needed. :) Goodluck

nice to hear more about hospitals hiring here...regarding bls,ecg training. I heard also that taking bls training in CCNAPI under also in philippine heart center is better that phc trainings. They have different prices, some are cheaper than phc. You can pay your bls trainings also in phc, they have schedule there.

yes i know thats why I said they have different prices of trainings. But you still have to pay in phil.heart center though their trainings were conducted in d.tuazon qc...just called them yesterday.

I believe CCNAPI is not under PHC but their office is located at PHC. Anyways, CCNAPI offers BLS-AHA and ACLS-AHA. However, I believe its not that important whether it is with AHA or not when applying to hospitals here in Philippines. And besides even without AHA accredited BLS or ACLS, they still aligned their teachings to standard of AHA. So don't misinterpret it. Although AHA is better, it cost higher.

I think you're the one who misinterpret me. I'm just here to inform everybody about bls trainings in ccnapi and I'm not saying that CCNAPI is connected in PHC. They just have their office in PHC and they have to pay there but their training center is in d. tuazon qc. That's it.

What is the difference between AHA accredited and the non-AHA accredited? I'm planning to take the ACLS training in CCNAPI. The lady told me that I need to take the BLS-AHA. I just had my BLS training recently in Phil. Nat'l Red Cross. She told me I'll be having a hard time to understand the ACLS-AHA if my BLS is not updated. The ACLS and BLS-AHA accredited is expensive. Is it really matter if AHA accredited or not?
